On A Whole

Its been a while since I update this blog of mine. What can I say? I've been busy. Burning the midnight oil on alternate nights trying to fully understand the concept of Banking and Finance. Its tiring I tell you.


Preliminary Examinations

If not of these prelims, I'd not have not start studying early. For 3 years not going for a exams of any kind, I'm kinda confident for this prelim though. Oh well. I blackout when I went for my first paper, which is Economics. So much of being confident. I spend the first 30 minutes trying to remember what I've study. In the end, its just the prelims.

I shall not say about my other 3 papers. I'll just let assumption take the best out of you. The prelims are a joke. Me giving stupid answers are one of them.

Examples:
" Only smarties have the answer. (= "
" My lecturer, Ber**** *eo**, did not teach me this. He told me that it'll only came out in Stats 2. Thus, I didn't bother to study this as I'm completely trust my lecturer. So can you please do something about that lecturer of mine? "

The final examinations, which is in May, will be different. By then, I'll be fully prepared for it. I guess I need to use that genius part of the brain of mine now. No point screwing it now.


IT SHOW (Blazers Sold At Skinny Jeans)

So much for blazers sold at skinny jeans. When I and Aliff reach there, there were only like skinny jeans and shirts. No blazers in sight. Went to the IT show and got my first IT gadget for the year. The Samsung 160Gb S2 Portable Hard Disk. Its cheap and slick too. Aliff bought a set too and a photo printer from Sony. As for his printer, I guess he bought it on impulse. Not to worry, we're helping out the Economy as we spent.

Met Noraini and her sis at the IT Show. She wanted to get a laptop for school use. I became her IT consultant on that day. We certainly took a long time on deciding which laptop to get, considering the price, the specs, the design and most importantly, the weight. Finally, after much consideration, she finally made her decision and got the white Fujitsu laptop at a good price, which includes an all in 1 printer and a free upgrade. I manage to convince the sales girl to give us a free optical mouse too. Its a very good buy.

For this year IT show, I notice a few things.
1) Sales girls will always flirt to get their sales. So much of sales tactics. No point flirting if I'm not the one buying.
2) Laptops are very cheap. With high end specs, you can get them like in less than 2k. As for mine, I got it last year and it costs me 2.5k. WTH!!
3) Printers are usually the main selling point of the IT SHOW.
4) Macbook, as usual, does not drop in price.

Oh well. Its a good IT show. Can't wait for the next one.

I guess you'll only miss that particular person only when he/she is gone. Oh well. Enough said. Only time will tell. Only time.
